LD87

In May 2021, LD87 began creating and designing streetwear for kids in Zurich, Switzerland. LD87 works closely with local artists and young kids for their edgy and urban-styled clothes. The brand is known for its high quality, style, and authenticity. Their collections are sold as exclusive and limited editions, and they are committed to using resource-saving and ecological textiles. Most of their designs show strong animals that reflect “respect and fear.” This message is incorporated into each design and underlines the important effect resilience has on children.
We worked closely with the LD87 team to identify core brand attributes that were important to LD87, such as strength, perseverance, respect, and resilience. The logotype is set in the blackletter “Fleisch Wurst,” designed by Joachim Müller-Lancé (Delve Fonts). It looks strong and edgy that perfectly matches the brand attributes. Additionally, we designed an iconic cross symbol uniting the four ld87’s values by arrow elements.
